Cow protection project
On our farm we are proud to house a herd of 62 cows, oxen and calves. As part of our cow protection program, none of our herd members are ever sent to slaughter! They all pass their lives happily in the green pastures and barn until their natural death.
Being self-sufficient
Being self-sufficient can mean many things; it is not merely producing your own food, rather it is creating every product that you need for your daily life, on your own. In Krishna Valley we are striving to come to the point of being able to do just that: produce everything we need from products that we cultivate on the farm and even from our waste!

Krishna Valley: From then to now
Krishna Valley, an ecological farm community, was first established in 1993. The vision was to create an alternative way of living, separate from modern day civilization. The center of the community would be it’s temple and spiritual practices. The sustenance of this project would be through self sufficient means.

Local Art
One of the things that we are well known for is our colorful, unique and spiritually charged temple. The wonderful paintings on the temple walls are all original, which were hand painted by our very own Hare Krishna artists in Hungary.
